long wait, good show, terrible audio
After a 2+ year wait, the show overall was pretty epic. Not bad, but definitely not good. The horrid audio in my nosebleed seats was due to the sound bouncing all over Petco (percussion mostly). I'm hoping it was better elsewhere.
Vocals were not very clear and muddled for any of the bands.
Joan Jett had to do her set in that blazing sun (early I might add. we were still getting settled). Poor Joan Jett, always a champ.
Motley Crue and Poison actually seemed glad to be there and put on a pretty decent show (if you've been to a lot of shows, you know what I mean).
